In class B piles, a minimum circumference of 34 in. or diamter of 11 in. at a point of 3 ft. from the butt may be specified for lengths of 25 ft. and under. In class C piles, a minimum circumference of 31 in. or diameter of 10 in. at a point of 3 feet from the butt may be specified for lengths of 25 ft. and under.
