Biewer Lu mber Sawmills
The Biewer Tree Farm Family is a voluntary landowner management program administered by Biewer Sawmills. This program provides free sustainable forest management assistance and technical forestry services to private landowners. Long-term management of timberlands results in multiple use and sustained yield for generations to come. The Biewer Lumber program is specifically geared toward the management of pine forests.

Biewer Lumber also buys Red Pine at tree length and random length logs, 8-foot bolts and utility poles. We purchase Jack Pine and White Pine bolts seasonally. We also offer competitive prices for stumpage and logs and payment for delivered logs and bolts weekly.

Our Michigan mill accepts wood from Lower
Michigan and the eastern part of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Our Wisconsin mill accepts wood from Wisconsin, Minnesota, and the western part of
Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Testimonial from a Biewer Private Landowner

"[My personal forester from Biewer] went the extra mile by meeting me at the farm on a Saturday morning during a large harvest of Red Pine. He took time to walk the property with me and answered all my questions. He did a thorough job and I obtained an excellent price for the timber. He also worked with the DNR to examine two areas of pocket decline that were identified during the harvest. I hope that [he] will be rewarded for his commitment to quality service."
