Biewer Sawmill – Winona, Inc. has officially broke ground!

Biewer Sawmill – Winona, Inc. has officially broke ground! Construction has begun and we hope to be complete and operational by January 2022.

This new sawmill will be on the GRYR railroad. The Grenada Railroad LLC (GRYR) operates 228 miles of track, running north/south along the I-55 corridor between Canton, MS and Memphis, TN.

Biewer Lumber owner, Tim Biewer, said the celebration made things feel a little more real.

“It’s another opportunity for the Biewer company to grow and our family of companies here,” he said. “With all the help from the city and the state to make this all happen, it’s really special.”
